Cycling Injury:Knee pain on outer edge of left knee and under cap. Help!!?
Having fitted a new set of Geo Clic Look pedals to my bike and undertaken a significant step-up in training for a charity ride (meningitis Trust) I'm left with the task of somehow repairing my knee which is suffering from extensive pain down the outside of the left knee cap and inside. It has significantly less strength in it, and I can't support my weight on a bent knee (well if i do, it hurts like #@+&). I'm pretty sure that the injury has been caused by the cleat alignment, and will look to address, but my physio has buzzed me with a small bit of ultrasound and told me to ice-it every night. Is there anything else that could be done to get me back in the saddle in two weeks for the charity ride? Don't want to let the charity down after raising the sponsorship.
