Knee pain help asap ! ?

I hurt my knee back in January so I know what you are going through! I to am waiting for a MRI but up here in good ole Canada it seems like getting in for an MRI takes forever! You may have hurt your medial ligaments in your knee. I know I have bruising , swelling and pain all on the inside of the knee and I keep hearing pops. My doctor thinks it could be cartilage damage or something. So for you it sounds like it could be ligaments. Do you also have a referral to an orthopedic specialist? I know I did. They will be able to tell you more about what is going on and what you can do to help. However in the States I hear you can just call some to get an immediate appointment whereas in Canada where I live you have to get referral which can takes months for some doctors to go through.
