Is it illegal to buy and resell candy at school (Canada)?

You would get in trouble with Revenue Canada. You are supposed to charge taxes HST/GST on whatever products you sell, unless you are trying to raise money for a charity. Then you have to report how much you collect in those taxes to Revenue Canada.
