Do I have a knee cartilage tear...?

I took a very heavy impact to inner side of lower right shin during soccer 1 week ago. The knee remains swollen and right now have a throbbing pain and sometimes a shooting pain. It is also difficult to fully straighten... I think i might have also heard a faint click sound when it is straighten and i bend it. The ER doctor had some x-rays done and said there were no fractures but didnt mention soft tissue. Should i go to local GP or physio now??
