What can be done before a game to prevent cramp?

You have to keep yourself well hydrated. Drink plenty of water a day prior to and the day of games. If you happen to tape your socks to prevent your shin guards from sliding, don't apply the tape too tight as it cuts circulation through out your legs, thus causing your calves to cramp. And do keep stretching your calves prior to games as well. But the important thing is to keep yourself well hydrated.
